We look at things from a different perspective.
Crowdfolio has been created due to the frustration born from the ‘property investment’ marketplace.
When we created Crowdfolio – we wanted to be different.
We didn’t want to invest in commercial property.
We didn’t want to put money into peer-to-peer lending, or the traditional equity based funding.
When we invested, we wanted to achieve two things – a passive monthly income that delivers a better return than any savings account, and to build a portfolio of property.
Our Mission
Buying an investment property is more like starting a business than making a simple investment.
Recent government tax changes have made it uneconomic for the majority of individuals, and lets face it – we may have a few £,000 here and there we can afford to invest – but how many of us have the 25% deposit required for a buy-to-let mortgage? Let alone the ongoing monthly mortgage payments.
